Texas Instruments TPS62240 Step Down DC-DC Converters

Texas Instruments TPS62240 high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converters are optimized for battery-powered portable applications. These converters provide up to 300mA output current from a single Li-Ion cell and are ideal for powering portable applications like mobile phones and other portable equipment. With an input voltage range of 2V to 6V, the device supports applications powered by Li-Ion batteries with an extended voltage range, two- and three-cell alkaline, 3.3V, and 5V input voltage rails. The Texas Instruments TPS62240 converters operate at 2.25MHz fixed switching frequency and enter Power Save Mode operation at light load currents to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range.
