The flexible flat cable (FFC) and flexible printed circuit (FPC) connectors feature single-step mating with an auto-pin-lock mechanism and large, visible release button for un-mating. The connectors are ideal for use in automotive connected mobility and Internet of Things (IoT) infotainment systems, assembly automation, PCB servers, smart appliances, and LED and OLED displays.

The Molex Easy-On FFC/FPC One-Touch connectors, available from Mouser, feature exceptional signal integrity with an insulation resistance of 50 megaohms, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 125 V_AC, and operating temperatures of up to 125°C. Selective gold plating on the signal terminal helps prevent solder wicking on the SMT solder tail, further enhancing signal integrity. The 0.5 mm-pitch connector enables quick and easy cable insertion and mating operation in manual or automatic assembly environments, with a large lead-in that helps prevent misalignment.

The connectors are available in a range of 10 to 80 circuits with two different heights to provide a great degree of design flexibility. In addition, the connector offers single and double contacts to ensure reliability and versatility in circuit size, height and cable styles.
