Texas Instruments SN65LBC174A-EP RS-485/RS-422 Quadruple Differential Line Drivers are designed for TIA/EIA-485 (RS-485), TIA/EIA-422 (RS-422), and ISO 8482 applications. The SN65LBC174A-EP is optimized for balanced multipoint bus transmission at signaling rates up to 30 million bits per second (Mbps).The transmission media can be printed-circuit-board traces, backplanes, or cables. The ultimate rate and distance of data transfer rely on the attenuation characteristics of the media and the noise coupling to the environment. The Texas Instruments SN65LBC174A-EP devices have gold bond wires, a temperature range of –55 to +105°C, and include an SnPb lead finish.
