Texas Instruments MSP430F5171/MSP430F5172 16-bit Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers are MSP430 MCUs with five low-power modes for extended battery life in portable measurement applications. TI MSP430F5171 MCUs feature two 16-bit high-resolution timers, universal serial communication interfaces, 32-bit hardware multiplier, on-chip comparator, three-channel DMA, 5V tolerant I/Os, and up to 29 I/O pins. MSP430F5172 MCUs offer the same features as the MSP430F5171 along with a high-performance 10-bit analog-to-digital converter. These Texas Instruments MSP430 MCUs are ideal for use in a variety of applications, including analog and digital sensor systems, LED lighting, digital power supply, motor control, remote controls, thermostats, digital timers, and hand-held meters.Features
