Texas Instruments LP503x RGB LED Drivers
Texas Instruments LP503x RGB LED Drivers offer 30- or 36-channel constant-current-sink with a 29kHz, 12-Bit PWM generator for each channel. The LP503x RGB LED Drivers have channel/module-independent color mixing and intensity control registers to enable vivid LED effects with zero audible noise. The device provides benefits such as ultra-low shutdown Iq Power Saving Mode and straightforward software coding of the LP503x's three programmable RGB banks. The 29kHz, 12-Bit PWM resolution results in an intensity that decreases smoothly and stops audible noise. The LP503x Drivers implement a PWM phase-shifting function to help reduce the input power budget when LEDs turn on simultaneously. The device provides an automatic power-saving mode to get ultra-low quiescent current. The Texas Instruments LP503x RGB LED Drivers can be an alternative for battery-powered end equipment when channels are all off for 30ms and the device's total power consumption is down to 10µA.Features
