TE Connectivity Low Insertion Force FASTON Terminals

TE Connectivity's (TE) Low Insertion Force FASTON Terminals feature improved ergonomics with a "dog bone" design, which allows the tab to slide on rolled edges. The high-temperature receptacles feature nickel-plated steel terminals that are rated up to 250°C, while the housings on pre-insulated ultra-pods are rated up to 150°C. The brass receptacles use brass and tin-plated terminals and a 0.25" x 0.032" mating interface. The 2D crimp receptacle has an insertion force of 6lbs or less while still providing excellent retention force when used with a 0.25"x 0.32" FASTON tab, easing assembly. Crimping tools are also available.
