TE Connectivity / Schaffner D101 Common-Mode Chokes for Lighting offer a combination of a strong common-mode inductance with a significant differential-mode inductance. The Schaffner ED100 and ED101 Common-Mode Chokes increase the efficiency of an LED driver circuit by reducing the need for X-capacitors. This efficiency raises the power factor and decreases unwanted reactive power. ED100 and ED101 offer two filtering elements in one component, providing space savings and boosting cost-effectiveness. ED100 is a straightforward common-mode choke with high differential-mode inductance (0.1mH to 1.1mH). ED101 offers the same common-mode performance (3mH to 40mH) but further increased differential-mode inductance (0.1mH to 1.1mH).
