STMicroelectronics STEVAL-IFP035V1 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-IFP035V1 Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate circuit protection strategies for factory automation. The STMicroelectronics board utilizes digital input current limiters between industrial sensor devices and processing units, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC).

The STEVAL-IFP035V1 evaluation board has two embedded CLT03-2Q3 self-powered digital input current limiters. The CLT03-2Q3 limiters offer two isolated channels to drive an isolated optocoupler or nonisolated LVTTL digital input terminations. The CLT03-2Q3 features reduced power dissipation and improved EMI robustness for safer and more reliable operation. This allows greater I/O module density solutions in designs.

The STEVAL-IFP035V1 board provides standard industry requirements by enabling reverse polarity operation and one-minute overvoltage tolerance. Additionally, jumpers are included to generate test pulses along any line to verify normal operation.
