Semtech TS30041 & TS30042 DC/DC Buck Regulators
Semtech TS30041 and TS30042 DC/DC Buck Regulators are designed for high-performance applications requiring up to 40V input range in a wide range of markets such as industrial, telecommunications, and consumer. These synchronous switching regulators include fully integrated power switches, internal compensation, and full fault protection. Semtech TS30041 and TS30042 DC/DC Buck Regulators offer a switching frequency of 1MHz. This enables the use of small filter components resulting in minimal board space and reduced costs.TS30041 and TS30042 Buck Regulators utilize current mode feedback in normal regulation PWM mode. When the regulator is placed in standby (EN is low), the device draws less than 10uA quiescent current.
The TS30041 and TS30042 integrate a wide range of protection circuitry including input supply under-voltage lockout, output voltage soft start, current limit, and thermal shutdown. These devices include supervisory reporting through the PG (Power Good) open drain output to interface other components in the system.
