onsemi FL7740 PWM Controller

onsemi FL7740 PWM Controller is a Constant-Voltage (CV) primary-side-regulation PWM controller that provides accurate CV regulation in the steady-state with differentiated dynamic function. This CV regulation minimizes the overshoot and undershoot of the output voltage in line and load transient conditions. The FL7740 PWM controller features a wide universal input range, low standby power, pulse-by-pulse current limit, overload protection, sensing resistor short, and open protection. onsemi FL7740 PWM controller offers less than 0.3W standby power for smart lighting applications. The FL7740 PWM controller has a power factor higher than 0.9 at high-line and half-load condition by enabling PF optimizer for wide output power scalability. The startup time of less than 0.2 seconds allows the output voltage to quickly reach the target CV level by loop gain transition technique. onsemi FL7740 PWM Controller applications include LED lighting system, AC-DC adapters, TVs, monitors, and offline appliances requiring power factor correction.
