onsemi / KEMET Motor Driver Solutions include onsemi Compact Intelligent Power Modules and KEMET's broad portfolio of capacitors. onsemi 600V Compact Intelligent Power Modules are fully-integrated inverter power stages suitable for driving permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The modules also drive brushless-DC (BLDC) motors and AC asynchronous motors. KEMET's capacitors are suitable for harsh environments in a variety of dielectrics, terminations, and form factors offering superior performance when coupled with Intelligent Power Module motor drive systems.
onsemi STK5Q4U352J-E 8A/600V Integrated Power Modules are fully-integrated inverter power stages. These modules consist of a high-voltage driver, six IGBTs and a thermistor. The modules are suitable for driving permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), brushless-DC (BLDC) motors, and AC asynchronous motors.
The module features IGBTs configured in a 3-phase bridge with separate emitter connections for the lower legs. This allows for maximum flexibility in the choice of control algorithms. The power stage has a full range of protection functions including cross-conduction protection, external shutdown and under-voltage lockout. An internal comparator and reference connected to the over-current protection circuit allows for setting the over-current protection level.
