onsemi / Fairchild 4N38xM 6-Pin DIP High Voltage Phototransistor Optocouplers are designed as phototransistor-type optically coupled optoisolators. The 4N38xM series features a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode coupled with a high voltage NPN silicon phototransistor. The devices have a UL 1577 safety and regulatory approval of 4,170VAC RMS for 1 minute and are DIN-EN/IEC60747-5-5 certified at 850V peak working insulation voltage.

The onsemi / Fairchild 4N38xM 6-Pin DIP High Voltage Phototransistor Optocouplers are supplied in a standard plastic six-pin dual-in-line package. The 4N38xM series is ideal for power supply regulators, digital logic inputs, microprocessor inputs, appliance sensor systems, and industrial controls.
