Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6919 Fast Turn-off Intelligent Rectifier
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6919 Fast Turn-off Intelligent Rectifier for flyback converters integrates a 100V/13mΩ MOSFET and offers higher efficiency and power density than a diode rectifier. This device generates its own supply voltage and does not require auxiliary winding for high-side or low-side rectification. The MP6919 rectifier supports continuous conduction mode (CCM), discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), and quasi-resonant operations. The internal ringing detection circuitry prevents the MP6919 from falsely turning on during DCM or quasi-resonant operations. This MPS rectifier is suitable for charger applications with a low output voltage requirement and adapter applications with a high-side setup. The MP6919 is ideally used in laptop adapters, quick charge (QC) and USB power delivery (PD) chargers, and high-efficiency flyback converters.Features
