Merit Sensor TRVF Pressure Sensors
Merit Sensor TRVF Pressure Sensors can measure fuel vapor at low pressures or refrigerant gas at higher pressures. These sensors are designed to provide stable output, even at temperatures up to 150°C. The piezoresistive MEMS element is mounted at the top of the ceramic pressure port. This allows backside pressure. This configuration isolates the media from the ceramic, silicon, and glass. Another advantage of the TRVF is the option for either analog or digital output. The TRVF sensors were also designed with spring contact pins for simple, no-solder assembly into the customer housing. These sensors are ideal for HVAC, industrial automation, refrigeration, transmission pressure, hydrogen (h₂), oil pressure, fuel rail, EGR/exhaust, and crankcase. The TRVF Pressure Sensors are designed to handle the toughest pressure-sensing environments with a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. These sensors operate at 0.5V to 4.5V output short circuit voltage range and supply high-voltage/protection reverse polarity up to 40V.
