Intel® Joule™ 550x Developer Kit with Expansion Board is a development platform for the Intel® Joule™ 550x module. The Joule requires a 12VDC power adapter (not included).
The compact expansion board breaks out all of the interfaces of the Intel Joule module to easily accessible connectors like USB Type-A, USB Type-C, user-programmable LEDs, user-readable buttons, micro HDMI, MIPI display serial interface (DSI), and 1.8V I/O headers.
Additional Requirements: - wireless internet connection, laptop or personal computer, preferably a higher performance Intel x86 with Windows 8 or higher, Ubuntu 6.04 or higher, Linux, or Mac OS X.
Intel Joule comes pre-installed with "Reference Linux OS for IoT," which is Intel's term for the Ostro™ Linux image.
