Hirose PS2 Series Heavy Duty Power Connectors combine two different current capacity power contacts and signal contacts to provide power connections and signal control between power rectifier units. The design includes high-current, low-current, and signal contacts with current ratings up to 200A, 50A, and 2.5A respectively. Designers can arrange power contacts to connect in 3-stage sequence. PS2 Series connectors can be mated/unmated with power applied through the low current contacts for up to 50 insertions/removals in an operating temperature range of -55ºC to 125ºC. The PS2 design ensures signal contacts will not deform during mating, and the floating screws used to mount the plug or receptacle assemblies increase self-alignment within ±0.5mm.
