Both series feature a multifunctional modular design, compact and ergonomic packaging, and the flexibility to support multiple connector variants and integration into mixed connectors. Additional features include a -40°C to +105°C operating temperature range, robust multiple key codes, adaptable housings for UTP and STP cables. and a cost-effective design that uses standard 0.50mm terminals. Aptiv AMEC and AMEC+ Automotive Ethernet Connection Systems utilize the OPEN Alliance Ethernet protocol and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards. Typical applications include automotive Ethernet, e-Mobility, and autonomous driving.
