Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX4998 / MAX14998 DisplayPort Passive Switches

Analog Devices MAX4998 / MAX14998 high-speed passive switches route DisplayPort™ between two possible destinations or vice versa in laptops or desktop PCs. These 5GHz-bandwidth DisplayPort passive switches are intended to be used where ultra-high-speed performance and minimal input capacitance is required. The MAX4998 has three DPDT switches and one SPDT switch. Two DPDT switches are for high-frequency switching, and one is for AUX. The SPDT switch is for HPD. The MAX14998 has six DPDT switches. Four DPDT switches are for high-frequency switching, and two are for AUX and HPD. These Analog Devices two- and four-lane high-speed passive switches are designed for use in notebook and desktop PC applications.
