TEC Series Micro Thermoelectric Coolers

Wakefield Thermal TEC Series Micro Thermoelectric Coolers utilize the Peltier effect to cool by moving heat from one side of a thermoelectric module to the other. The Peltier effect is a unique method of temperature control that uses semiconductors and electricity to transfer heat away from objects that are heating up. These coolers feature 30AWG solid copper lead wire terminal contacts tinned with AuSn and an aluminum oxide (Al2O3) substrate material. The micro TEC thermoelectric coolers have a maximum short-time processing temperature of 220°C and a maximum operating temperature of 90°C. These thermoelectric coolers are RoHS, REACH, Telcordia GR468, and MIL-STD-883 compliant. The TEC micro thermoelectric coolers are an efficient and compact solution for temperature management in a wide range of applications. Typical applications include scientific and biomedical instruments, laboratory equipment, industry and electrical equipment, and consumables.
