Mouser University Representative Group (MURG)

Mouser Electronics was founded by a physics teacher, Jerry Mouser, aimed to provide products with high quality and reasonable prices for his new electronics course. Later, he expanded to provide teachers and students on campus with high-quality electronic components and highly satisfying after-sales support.

To advance the original intention and core values of Mouser, the Mouser University Representative Group (MURG) was established in 2014. Through reviews of students’ CVs and interviews with students from dozens of colleges, Mouser selects three elite students to from our University Representative Group. Next, we provide them with the required professional knowledge in selecting electronic components based on teachers’ instructions and the design engineers training course. Additionally, we promote closer integration of the latest products and technologies in the industry through seminars, training camps or other ways on campus. Our efforts allow the students to have a thorough overview of the trends in the electronics industry shaping the future and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry, helping to achieve the goal of “seamless integration between the electronics industry and academia.”
