AXC Voltage Translators

Texas Instruments AXC Voltage Translators offer voltage translation between 0.65V and 3.6V, with data rates exceeding 300+Mbps, and control pins to configure the direction of translation. The AXC family includes 1, 2, 4, and 8-channel devices and bus-hold versions of each device. The Texas Instruments AXC family is designed for asynchronous communication, with features such as VCC isolation and Ioff protection circuitry. These features minimize power consumption and allow glitch-free performance during system power-up.

SN74AXC8T245/Q1 8-Bit Dual-Supply Bus Transceivers

Texas Instruments SN74AXC8T245/Q1 8-Bit Dual-Supply Bus Transceivers determine voltage level mismatch between 0.7V-0.9V devices and 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V standard devices. Using two independent power-supply rails (VCCA and VCCB), the SN74AXC8T245 can operate as low as 0.65V. Supply voltage from 0.65V to 3.6V is accepted in data pins A1 through A8, designed to monitor VCCA. B1 through B8 data pins track VCCB, which allows 0.65V to 3.6V supply voltage. Developed for asynchronous communication between data buses, the SN74AXC8T245 transmits data from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus. This feature depends on the logic level of the direction-control inputs (DIR1 and DIR2).
