AB08x5/AB18x5 Real-Time Clock Family

Abracon AB08x5/AB18x5 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Family feature power requirements as low as 15nA and a micro CMOS platform that is based on Abracon's innovative Sub-threshold Power-Optimized Technology (SPOT) by Ambiq Micro. These products include the AB08x5 Real-Time Clock Family and AB18x5 Real-Time Clock with Power Management Family. The clocks utilize on-chip oscillators to provide minimum power consumption and full RTC functions, including battery backup and programmable counters and alarms for timer and watchdog functions. They use either an I2C or SPI serial interface for communication with a host controller. Ideal applications include smart cards, wireless sensors and tags, medical electronics, utility meters, data loggers, appliances, and much more.
