EMI Noise Suppression

Noise suppression has become an important issue, especially regarding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Murata provides engineers with complete support, including products and design-simulation software solutions based on expertise achieved through extensive on-site experience. This enables Murata to provide noise suppression solutions for a broad array of applications.

NFG Common Mode Noise Filters

Murata NFG Common Mode Noise Filters offer a 100mA current rating, a 19dB to 29dB insertion loss range, and a 10MΩ insulation resistance. The NFG components are compatible with the high-speed, large-capacity, transmission standard MIPI C-PHY. Murata Electronics NFG Common Mode Noise Filters are ideal for note PCs, cell phones, and digital still/video camera applications.

WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes)

Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes) feature a compact design that delivers high suppression of asymmetric interferences, even at low-frequency ranges. In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.

Noise Suppression for MIPI C-PHY

Smartphone displays are becoming larger with higher resolutions as the volume of the information handled goes up. As a result, the data volume of video signals sent to displays is also increasing. A differential transfer interface called MIPI D-PHY has been used to efficiently transfer these signals. But now, MIPI C-PHY is increasingly being used as an interface that can transfer data at even higher speeds. The MIPI C-PHY transfer system differs from the previous one, D-PHY, so different noise filters are needed. Murata highlights the noteworthy features of MIPI C-PHY noise suppression and the noise suppression products commercialized for MIPI C-PHY.
