LPC43S70 Arm® Cortex®-M4 Microcontrollers
NXP Semiconductors LPC43S70 Arm® Cortex®-M4 Microcontrollers operate at up to 204MHz CPU frequencies. The Arm Cortex-M4 is a 32-bit core that offers low power consumption and enhanced debug features. These microcontrollers incorporate 3 stage pipeline and use the Harvard architecture. The Harvard architecture design of these microcontrollers provides separate local instruction, data buses, and the third bus for peripherals. The LPC43S70 includes an application Arm Cortex-M0 coprocessor and a second Arm Cortex-M0 subsystem for managing the SGPIO and SPI peripherals. The Arm Cortex-M0 core is an energy-efficient and easy-to-use 32-bit core which is code and tool compatible with the Cortex-M4 core. Typical applications are embedded audio, motor control, power management, white goods, RFID readers, e-metering, and industrial automation.
