TPS543820EVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS543820EVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to help evaluate the TPS543820. The TPS543820 is a synchronous buck converter, integrating both power MOSFETs with a low drain to source resistance to minimize solution size and provide high efficiency at full load. The TPS543820 uses fixed frequency advanced current mode control with a low minimum on-time for high switching frequency to minimize solution size and achieve a fast transient response. The Texas Instruments TPS543820EVM includes two designs with the TPS543820. The first design is designed to demonstrate the small printed-circuit-board areas that may be achieved when designing with the TPS543820 regulator. The small area design fits within 100mm2. The second design is designed to demonstrate the high efficiency that can be achieved when designing with the TPS543820 regulator. The second design also includes jumpers that can be used to easily evaluate the features of the TPS543820.
