Amphenol Advanced Sensors T3400 A2L Refrigerant Detection Sensors and Eval Kit can identify refrigerant gas leaks by assessing the thermal conductivity of a specific gas mixture. During refrigerant discharge, the changes in the thermal conductivity of the gas mixture can be measured by the micro Thermal-Conductivity Detector (TCD) sensing element. The thermal-conductivity-based detection offers the benefits of superior long-term reliability and resilience in harsh operating environments. The T3400 and T3401 refrigerant leak detection sensors effectively identify the R32 refrigerant gas and the R454B refrigerant gas leakage, respectively.
