NJL5821R & NJL5822R Encoders

Nisshinbo NJL5821R and NJL5822R Encoders are surface-mount photo reflectors built in a high-brightness Infrared LED and PDIC. These encoders can obtain two-phase (A, B) digital signals with the recommended striped reflector. The NJL5821R and NJL5822R encoders are optimum sensors for various kinds of rotation detection. This can contribute to the low power consumption of the set and the simplification of the design. These encoders feature resolutions of 150LPI (NJL5821R) and 180LPI (NJL5822R). The NJL5821R and NJL5822R encoders operate within the -30°C to 105°C temperature range. These encoders are RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and lead-free. Typical applications include rotation detection of the operation dials and encoders.
