1555F Watertight Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing 1555F Watertight Enclosures are specially designed for harsh industrial environments or outdoor applications. These enclosures feature robust mounting flanges that are capable of withstanding abuse. The enclosure cover offers a smooth recessed area ideal for membrane keypads or labels. Internal features include mounting bosses for PC boards or inner panels and DIN rail-mounting locations on all but size "C" models. A silicone gasket with "tongue and groove" construction provides a watertight seal. Galvanized steel inner panels are available. Hammond Manufacturing 1555F Watertight Enclosures are designed for wall mounting and come in a light gray color to lower heat absorption. They are offered in a general-purpose ABS plastic material or a stronger polycarbonate material.
