PAM2306 Dual Step-Down DC-DC Converters

Diodes Incorporated offers a wide range of non-isolated DC-DC Converters. These switching voltage regulator converters feature integrated power switches to make designing easier and to minimize component count. With internal or external compensation, the designer can opt for smaller board space and fewer components or select specific inductor and capacitor values. Higher switching frequencies reduce the output ripple current and allow for comparatively smaller inductors (although special attention has to be given to EMI). Overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection increase board reliability and prevent premature failures. A Power Good signal, in combination with an Enable pin, can be used for power sequencing and can warn the processor of possible supply problems and shut down in a controller manner. DC-DC converters include buck, boost, buck/boost, external buck, and external boost.
