MIC24046 Pin Programmable 5A Step-Down Regulator

Microchip MIC24046 Pin-Programmable 5A Step-Down Regulator with high efficiency and wide input range. This regulator can be programmed by pin strapping various parameters such as output voltage, switching frequency, and current limit values. MIC24046 has high-performance error amplifier, selectable switching frequency, valley current mode control technique, and provides high-efficiency in small solution size. This regulator is available in a thermally efficient space saving 20-pin 3mm x 3mm Quad Flat No-lead package (QFN). It operates at junction temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC. Other features include safe startup with pre-biased output, hiccup mode short circuit protection, and internal soft start and thermal shutdown protection. Microchip MIC24046 regulator is ideal for rail application environments typically found in computing and telecommunication systems.

MIC24046 Step-Down Converters

Microchip MIC24046 Step-Down Converters are pin-programmable, high-efficiency, and wide-input range regulators. These converters have a 4.5-19V input voltage range with a 5A maximum output current. The MIC24046 converters are available in a thermally-efficient, space-saving, 20-pin QFN package with an operating junction temperature of -40ºC to 125ºC These converters are ideal for multiple-voltage rail application environments found in computing and telecommunication systems.
