AEK-POW-L5964V1 Expansion Board

STMicroelectronics AEK-POW-L5964V1 Expansion Board is a dual-channel, independent, step-down regulator with integrated synchronous MOSFETs. This board has two independent converters that deliver a fixed or variable output voltage via MCU control. The AEK-POW-L5964V1 expansion board incorporates monitoring circuitries for input and output voltages and LEDs that indicate operating status. The converters are based on the L5964 step-down switching regulators (in buck topology) with overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The AEK-POW-L5964V1 expansion board is part of the AutoDevKit™ initiative. This board employs the Alternate mode that allows the USB connector to become a bridge for the high-speed data ports such as HDMI and DisplayPort. The AEK-POW-L5964V1 expansion board is designed for power car or truck body applications that require different voltages, such as UB-PD or infotainment.
