PiUART USB Console for Raspberry Pi

Adafruit PiUART USB Console for Raspberry Pi adds a USB Type-C™ to serial connection to any Raspberry Pi, enabling any serial port software to connect to the Pi's console. The PiUART features two LEDs that blink when data is being sent or received. The PiUART includes an ON and OFF switch with a 4A transistor, which can switch the Raspberry Pi off without unplugging the cable. The PiUART works with any Raspberry Pi computer (Pi 1, 2, 3, and zero). The PiUART console can power and control low-power usage Pis like the Pi zero and A+ from a single cable connected to the user's computer.
