TPS53689T Step-Down Multiphase D-CAP+ Controller

Texas Instrument TPS53689T Step-Down Digital Multiphase D-CAP+ Controller is a VR14-compliant step-down controller with trans-inductor voltage regulator (TLVR) topology support. The device includes a built-in non-volatile memory (NVM), two channels, and a PMBus™ interface fully compatible with TI smart power stages. The advanced control features like the D-CAP+ architecture provide low output capacitance, fast transient response, and good dynamic current sharing. Adjustable control of adaptive voltage positioning and output voltage slew rate are natively supported. In addition, the device supports the PMBus communication interface for reporting the telemetry of current, voltage, power, temperature, and fault conditions to the host system. All programmable parameters can be configured through the PMBus interface and stored in NVM as the new default values to minimize the external component count.
