Power ICs

Analog Devices Inc. Power ICs provide energy efficiency to extend battery life for wearables and other small, battery-powered devices. Maxim's portfolio of power ICs does not generate a lot of heat, consumes less current, and has a small footprint. The Analog Devices Inc. Power ICs enable a more robust operation and longer battery life in designs.

MAX1722, MAX1723, & MAX1724 DC-DC Converters

Analog Devices MAX1722, MAX1723, and MAX1724 DC-DC Converters are compact, high-efficiency, step-up DC-DC converters available in tiny TSOT-5 and µDFN-6 packages. These devices feature a low 1.5µA quiescent supply current to ensure the highest possible light-load efficiency. Optimized for operation from one to two alkaline or nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) cells, or a single Li+ cell, these devices are ideal for applications where extremely small quiescent currents and ultra-small sizes are critical. The built-in synchronous rectification significantly improves efficiency and reduces size and cost by eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode.

MAX17245 Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Converter

Analog Devices MAX17245 Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Converter comes with integrated MOSFETs and operates over a 3.5V to 36V input voltage range with 42V input transient protection. The Analog Devices MAX17245 can operate in dropout condition by running at 98% duty cycle. The converters deliver up to 3.5A and generate fixed output voltages of 3.3V/5V, along with the ability to program the output voltage between 1V to 10V. The MAX17245 uses a current-mode control architecture.
