FTL4C1Q 40GBASE-LR4 Optical Transceivers

Coherent FTL4C1Q 40GBASE-LR4 QSFP+ Optical Transceivers are designed for use in 40Gb Ethernet links over single-mode fiber (SMF). These FTL4C1Q modules feature power dissipation of <3.5W, a single 3.3V power supply, and an uncooled 4x10Gb/s CWDM transmitter. The devices comply with the QSFP+ multi-source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 specifications, and RoHS directive 2011/65/EU. Coherent FTL4C1Q optical transceivers offer digital diagnostic functions via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA.

FTLX1x72x3BCL Multi-Rate SFP+ Transceivers

Coherent FTLX1x72x3BCL 10Gb/s Pluggable SFP+ Transceivers are designed for use in 10 Gigabit multi-rate links up to 40km of G.652 single-mode fiber (SMF). They are compliant with SFF-8431 and SFF-8432, 10GBASE-ER, and support 10G SONET, SDH, OTN, IEEE 802.3ae, 8x/10x Fibre Channel over 40k links and 6.144G/9.83 CPRI. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. These transceivers offer higher optical transmit power and better receiver sensitivity than 1310nm 10GBASE-LR and OC-192 SR-1 transceivers. They support an optical link budget of 17dB, to compensate for the higher fiber attenuation loss at 1310nm over 40km of G.652 SMF. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. Coherent FTLX1772M3BCL transceivers utilize internal transmitter and receiver retimer ICs for SONET/SDH jitter compliance and to enhance host card signal integrity.

FTL410Q QSFP+ Optical Transceivers

Coherent FTL410QE2C QSFP+ Gen2 Optical Transceivers are designed for 40 Gigabit per second links over multi-mode fiber (MMF). These modules comply with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR43 for 100m links on OM3 fiber. They are also compatible with 10G Base SR for fan-out applications (QSFP+ to 4 SFP+). Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA. Coherent FTL410Q QSFP+ transceivers are RoHS 6 compliant and lead-free with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and Finisar Application Note AN-2038.

They comply with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, IEEE 802.3-2012 10GBASE-SR/SW, and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-Mx-SN-I. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. Coherent FTLX 8574D3BCL is a "limiting module", meaning it employs a limiting receiver. Host board designers using an EDC PHY IC should follow the IC manufacturer's recommended settings for interoperating the host board EDC PHY with a limiting receiver SFP+ module.
