IGBT Power Modules

Vishay Semiconductors IGBT Power Modules feature trench PT IGBT technology and are geared toward TIG welding machines. These IGBTs combine HEXFRED® and FRED Pt® diode technology and meet UL standards. The INT-A-PAK feature on some variants enables designs with limited height requirements that require high voltages and currents. The EMIPAK-2B package features PressFit pins and an exposed substrate for improved thermal performance. The optimized layout helps to minimize stray parameters, allowing for better EMI performance. Vishay Semiconductors IGBT Power Modules are used in applications such as appliance motor drives, electric vehicle motor drives, solar inverters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and power factor correction converters.
