HFE Front-End Power Supplies

TDK-Lambda HFE Power Supplies allow users to remotely program, measure, and check the status of power supplies via standard TCP/IP networks (LAN, WAN, and the Internet). The LAN option is designed to communicate with single or multiple supplies in a rack or multiple racks housing HFE power supplies. The user can install and remove the HFE LAN module without disrupting the operation of the HFE power supplies. A web browser can be used to operate the module via a built-in webpage server. TDK-Lambda HFE Power Supplies offer full remote programming functions.

HFE 1600W Front End Power Supplies

TDK-Lambda HFE 1600W Front End Power Supplies operate off a universal AC input of from 85 to 265VAC, with active PFC, and provides a well regulated DC output of 12V, 24V, or 48V. Operating efficiencies of up to 92% are typical. With the 19" rack-mount enclosure as many as five supplies can be paralleled with automatic load-sharing to provide up to 7600W of output power. A popular option is an integral MCU in each supply that allows for remote programming, monitoring, and status reporting via an isolated I2C and PMBus interface. An energy-saving feature of the I2C/PMBus interface is that rack-mounted TDK-Lambda HFE1600 supplies can be individually turned on or off as the total system load demand varies over time.
