AC Line Filters

KEMET AC Line Filters, also known as coils or chokes, suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise. All consumer electronics that use AC power need EMI suppression such as AC line filters. In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Common Mode Coils

KEMET Common Mode Coils are available in a wide variety of sizes, specifications, and characteristics. These coils feature proprietary ferrite material and equivalents with three types of cores: toroidal, UU, and square-shaped. The portfolio includes chokes that are AEC-Q200 qualified. KEMET Common Mode Coils have an operating temperature range of -25°C to +150°C, depending on the series. Typical applications include automotive, audio-visual equipment, office automation equipment, industrial equipment, digital appliances, and power supply devices.

SS Coils

KEMET SS Coils are offered in a wide variety of sizes and specifications. These gear-type coils feature proprietary ferrite cores and are designed for use in noise countermeasure fields. KEMET SS coils have a rectangular core with middle or small size core dimensions and low to middle current (300mA to 5A). The optimized core shape and product structure are ideal for compact applications where space is a priority. These coils are available in vertical and horizontal assemblies.
