The USB Type-C connectors feature a reversible mating form factor with up to 10Gbps transfer rates and a 5A max power rating. The connectors operate over 10,000 mating cycles for reliable performance and power delivery. The standard USB Type-C connector has 24 contacts, though other versions offer fewer contacts, like GCT ionex® Type-C with 16 contacts. The GCT USB Type-C Connectors meet USB3.2 specifications, which offer enhanced SuperSpeed+ data transfer modes of up to 20Gbps. USB4151 Type C USB 3.1 Connector

GCT (Global Connector Technology) USB4151 Type C USB 3.1 Connector offers a 5A current rating, 100MΩ insulation resistance, and durability with up to 10,000 cycles. The USB4151 connector features a vertically mounted USB Type-C plug and five shell stakes and dual locating pegs for onboard stability. This connector also has 24 contacts for full USB 3.1 functionality. GCT USB4151 Type C USB 3.1 Connector provides a surface-mount design and operates in the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

USB Type-C™ USB 3.2 Gen 2 Standard Connectors

GCT USB Type-C^® USB 3.2 Gen 2 Standard Connectors are robust, compact I/O interconnect systems with a reversible mating form factor. The connectors provide fast 20Gbit/s (USB 3.2) speeds, more than 10,000 mating cycles, power up to 5A, 24 contacts as standard, and profiles as low as 3.26mm. Top-mount connectors are soldered to the top side of the PCB. The devices also can be soldered to the bottom of the PCB to take advantage of the USB Type-C reversible interface. For mid-mount versions, a hole is routed in the PCB, and the connector drops onto the PCB top or bottom and is soldered in place. Mid-mount connectors are ideal for super low-profile applications. Vertical-mount plugs and receptacles are simply mounted at 90° on PCBs.

USB1125 Full-Size USB A 2.0 Connectors

GCT USB1125 Full-Size USB A 2.0 Connectors offer a 25% smaller footprint than standard full-size USB. The GCT USB1125 Full-Size USB A 2.0 Connectors feature a body length of 10mm and are rated for 5000 mating cycles. USB1125 has been designed without mating face lead-in guides to allow a cleaner panel design.

USB4151 USB Type C™ USB 3.2 Gen 2 Connectors

GCT USB4151 USB Type C^® USB 3.2 Gen 2 Connectors are compact, vertical-mount devices reinforced with five shell stakes in addition to two locating pegs. These design features are a critical requirement when designing equipment for docking applications. GCT USB4151 includes features typical of USB Type C USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors, including data speeds up to 10Gbps, a 5A current rating, and a reversible form factor.
