Coaxial PCB Connectors

Amphenol SV Microwave Coaxial PCB Connectors meet or exceed industry requirements for high-performance, efficient, compact designs. Configurations include single-port and multiport 2.92mm, 2.4mm, SMA, SMP, SMPM, and SMPS edge launch, board mount, and thru-hole connectors. SMPx PCB connectors are designed for high-density applications and allow axial and radial misalignment to compensate for tolerance stack up. Pre-tinned versions and custom PCB footprint designs that optimize connector to PCB transitions are also available.

Compression-Mount Evaluation Board Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave Compression-Mount Evaluation Board Connectors feature a durable, rugged design and solderless compression mount for a fast and easy installation. These high-speed connectors offer a frequency range of 18GHz to 65GHz. They are offered in SMA, 2.92mm, 2.4mm, 1.85mm, and SMP QuarterBack® (secure locking). Amphenol / SV Microwave Compression-Mount Evaluation Board Connectors present a cost-effective solution for testing, making them ideal for RF test and measurement boards, high-speed digital component testing, as well as stripline, microstrip, and coplanar waveguide PCB launch applications.

High-Vibration Solutions

Amphenol / SV Microwave High-Vibration Solutions are designed to withstand the high-vibration environmental conditions in mil-aero applications. Amphenol offers products with the SMPM interface, which is favored as a smaller alternative to the standard SMP interface. RF technology has been pushed into higher-density, higher-frequency applications that need to maintain a small form factor. However, the push-on design of the standard SMPM and SMPS interfaces does not have enough mating captivating to withstand high vibration. To address this concern, Amphenol / SV Microwave offers two product families with a standard SMPM or SMPS interface with additional mating captivating. The threaded SMPM products feature a threaded coupling nut that encases the SMPM interfaces, securing it tightly. Amphenol / SV Microwave High-Vibration Solutions are suitable for space launches, military aircraft flight conditions, and tank crossings over rugged terrain.

SMP Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to allow the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and for misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack up. With significant withdrawal forces on the full detent shroud, SMP connectors are standard for quick and effective interconnects using both semi-rigid and flexible cables. The push-on design allows the installer to mate connectors without the need for threads or wrenches. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to conform to DSCC 94007, 94008 and MIL-STD-348, and mate with other industry connectors such as the GPO.

5G Connectors, Adapters, & Cable Assemblies

Amphenol / SV Microwave 5G Connectors, Adapters, and Cable Assemblies offer >26GHz frequency levels and specialize in the precision RF frequency bands that 5G requires. RF solutions for the 5G series include LiteTouch connectors, solderless edge launch connectors, mini-D RF connection systems, and solderless PCB connectors. The Amphenol / SV Microwave 5G family is ideal for test equipment, striplines, military, and aerospace applications, depending on the model.
