Micro-Miniature (SMPM / SMPS) RF Terminations

Amphenol / SV Microwave Micro-Miniature (SMPM / SMPS) RF Terminations are available in 1/2W power handling with a blindmate / push-on design (RFfortless®). These subminiature RF / coaxial terminations are installed at the end of a bus or transmission line to prevent signals from reflecting back. The components feature 50Ω impedance, 40GHz frequency, and 250V_RMS or 325V_RMS dielectric withstanding voltage. Amphenol / SV Microwave Micro-Miniature (SMPM / SMPS) RF Terminations have a temperature rating of -65°C to +165°C. Applications include aerospace, military, board to board, high-density multiport connectors and blocks, broadband, instrumentation, routers, telecommunications, high speed, and much more.

SMPM Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave SMPM Connectors are 20% smaller than Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP connectors and offer a frequency range of up to 65GHz. These SMPM connectors enable the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack up. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMPM Connectors have higher withdrawal forces on the full detent shroud, making them ideal for quick and effective interconnects using both semi-rigid and flexible cables. The push-on design allows designers to mate connectors without the need for threads or wrenches.
