KEMET R53 & R58 EMI Suppression Capacitors
KEMET R53 and R58 EMI Suppression Capacitors are designed for situations where capacitor failure would not result in exposure to electric shock. The R53 miniature capacitors utilize X2 technology in terms of combined THB Grade 3B level and feature high capacitance density and high capacitance values in a small pitch. The R53 and R58 capacitors are constructed of metalized polypropylene film encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin in a box of material that meets the requirements of UL 94V-0. These capacitors are AEC–Q200 qualified, RoHS compliant, and operate within a -40°C to +110°C temperature range. Typical applications include LED drives, smart utility meters, solar micro-inverters, EMI filters in wireless power transfer, and consumer electronics.
The R53B capacitors are constructed of metallized polypropylene film encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin in a box of material that meets the requirements of UL 94V–0. R53B capacitors feature a high operating temperature rating of +125°C, power ratings of 350VAC and 800VDC, and low halogen content according to JS709C. Intended for use in situations where capacitor failure would not result in exposure to electric shock, R53B capacitors are ideal for harsh environmental conditions and meet the demanding Automotive Electronics Council's AEC–Q200 qualification requirements.
